Nerf Alliance ONLY at Argos

Argos have a really cool deal going on with their Nerf products at the moment. Basically, when you buy selected products, you get a unique code on the box. Enter this code on the 'Nerf Alliance' website and you are awarded tokens that you can save up and redeem for cool Nerf goodies.

Depending on the value of the product you buy, you'll get either 1, 2, 3 or 8 tokens per item. Once you have redeemed these tokens, you can save them up, or spend them on the following:

3 Tokens - 2 packs of Vortex Lumitron discs or 36 Clip System darts.

6 Tokens - Nerf Dart Tag Speedload.

10 Tokens - Nerf Vortex Lumitron.

Now, I know that you will have to spend a lot of money to get anything out of this offer. Don't automatically go for the big ticket items if you want to get some free stuff. I think the cheapest way to get anything out of the offer is to take advantage of Argos' other offers. They are currently offering two Maverick REV-6s for £15. Buy 10 of them, pay £75 and get a free Lumitron. Not the best way of doing it. Lets face it, you're going to buy new Nerf stuff anyway, why not get it from Argos and get some free stuff aswell?

Nerf N-Strike Elite Strongarm Sold!

Some lucky person with far too much money decided to blow it on the (not yet released) Nerf Elite Strongarm. It was sold on Ebay.com for £719.22 ($1125.01)!!!!! The buyer must have been desperate to get their hands on this baby! The thing I don't get is... How did the seller get the Nerf Elite Strongarm in the first place? Post a comment if you know anything about this.

I hope the seller buys themselves something nice!

Nerf Strongarm

It looks like a cross between the Maverick REV-6 and the Spectre REV-5. Like the Maverick, the turret holds 6 darts but the whole blaster is longer with the barrels positioned way forward like the Spectre. The tactical rail has also been moved from the priming handle to above the barrel which is good news if you actually want to use it. You'll also notice that the body of the blaster behind the turret is elongated. Could this be to house a direct plunger system? Let's hope so. As with all of the Elite line, the box boasts a 75 feet range. It'll be interesting to see what Hasbro have done with the air seal to make it spit darts that far.

Of all the Elite blasters we have seen so far, I think this one is the first to really get me excited! There hasn't really been a 'good' pistol from Nerf since the Nitefinder so I'll be very excited to get one when they are released. Let's hope it come out soon!
